So far in 2010 we´ve been really busy. This weekend a lot of MediaFront-people spent several nights working on http://www.norgesbestbetaltejobb.no. Check it out! (It´s in norwegian: Norway’s best paid job. Basically the concept is all about applying for a job that takes one second to fulfill – and for this, the winner gets half a million norwegian kroner!) The Facebook-page already has over 6000 fans and the idea comes from Dinamo.
One of the last jobs we finished in 2009 was Studio X for Euronics. Almost a thousand people participated, one million votes were given – and Euronics got more than 20.000 clicks to their main site. In numbers, this campaign was a big success!
Writing this, it occurred to me there´s been a lot of competition based campaigns lately. This might be a trend as more companies use Facebook-pages and social media activity as platforms, and a competition is a good way to start attracting fans. Another competition that got lots of attention from both the snowboarding/skiing-community and the media, was http://www.pimpyourcampingvogn.no/. An idea from Suburbia, production by MediaFront, and lots of engaged competitors – the five finalist blogs created massive engagement in the community! The winner got 36.983 votes!
To sum up 2009, we also made a pretty special one day celebration for Tele2 (working with SMFB on this one). Take a look at the casemovie for a presentation of how Tele2 gave away free bannerads.
Last, but not least, we have built Facebook fanpages for Ikea and Skilandslaget/Dnb NOR (The norwegian cross country team + their main sponsor).
