<p><b>Nettstudier er mer populært enn noensinne. MediaFront skal hjelpe NKS med å få flere studenter og tilrettelegge for enda bedre nettstudier.  </b></p>
<p>Pitchens utgangspunktet var en nettløsning som skulle fungere sømløst på alle flater, men endte i at MediaFront også får oppgaven med å tenke kommunikasjon og løsninger uavhengig av kanal.</p>
<p>- Underveis i prosessen etter en leverandør til justeringer av NKS sin nettløsning, så vi veldig tydelig synergiene med å legge selve kampanjebiten hos samme byrå. Etter en grundig runde bestemte oss for å &#8220;legge hele pakka&#8221; hos MediaFront. Vi opplever MediaFront som dyktige, sultne og nysgjerrige på &#8220;vår verden&#8221;, og ser med glede fram til å starte samarbeidet, sier Cecilie Bryner, markedssjef hos NKS Nettstudier.</p>
<p>NKS Nettstudier er et nettverk av høyt kvalifiserte veiledere og anerkjente høyskoler, som sammen skaper et unikt studiested for de som ønsker høyere utdanning. Studiene er spesielt tilrettelagt for nettet, med en intuitiv, pedagogisk tilnærming.</p>
<p>- MediaFront tror på integrerte tanker satt inn i en helhet, og vi gleder oss stort til å bistå NKS. Ikke bare er de visjonære, de er også en institusjon innen utdanning, som gjennom nesten 100 år har utdannet rundt tre millioner nordmenn, sier Børge Sandengen, daglig leder i MediaFront og rådgiver på prosjektet.</p>

Christian Lundgard Ruud er død. Han sovnet stille inn blant sine nærmeste i dag morges, den 2. november. På kontoret og i bransjen kjente de fleste ham som Crude, han fikk det navnet av en amerikansk kollega allerede på 90-tallet. E-postadressen har siden vært crude@mediafront.no.</p>
<p>Han kom bankende på MediaFront-døren som nyutdannet designer i 1996, full av energi, med et snakketøy som aldri sto stille, svartkledd og med oransje hår. Den positive energien, den herlige snakkesaligheten og de svarte klærne har vært med ham siden, også inn i sykdomsperioden og frem til den uhelbredelige kreften satte et betingelsesløst punktum.</p>
<p>Christian var den første MediaFront ansatte. Han ble partner i 2002 og var en viktig person innen digital design og produksjon. Hans faglige kompetanse, kombinert med en absolutt pålitelighet og utforskertrang løste alle utfordringer.</p>
<p>Cannes, Eurobest, Webby… Christian har vært delaktig i det meste av edle metall som er vunnet her på MediaFront. Mest som en bakmann; han var mer opptatt av et sosialt jobbmiljø enn å høste anerkjennelse. Christian var kanskje den viktigste frontmannen for den kulturen og lojaliteten som har vært så sterk og vesentlig i MediaFronts historie.</p>
<p>Crude var ikke bare mannen som kunne alt, han visste også det aller meste. ”Crudipedia”; det levende oppslagsverket. Hadde han ikke svar, så fant han det til deg. Ofte tilsendt på e-post med linker og egen analyse. Han var kunnskapshungrig og engasjert, men han gjorde det like mye av godhet, for å glede deg.</p>
<p>Du ble bare 38 år gammel, Crude, men mange av oss har rike minner av deg som fra et langt liv. Som en dyktig og alltid hjelpsom kollega, men mest av alt som et tvers igjennom godt menneske, og som en alltid interessant og interessert venn.</p>
<p>Hvil i fred, Crude. Du har etterlatt deg udødelige inntrykk hos alle oss som er eller har vært innom MediaFront. Hos oss vil du leve i all fremtid.</p>
<p>Våre tanker går til Lin og familie. Vi sørger med dere.</p>

<p><strong id="internal-source-marker_0.46049519581720233"><strong id="internal-source-marker_0.46049519581720233">In order to make contact with my creative spirit, I turn to religion. </strong><br />
My creative brain works best when I am influenced under a higher power, when I feel myself bathing in a sea of endorphins and disappearing into a dream world.</strong></p>
<p>In my creative religion there are ten commandments I follow when I want to see the light:</p>
<p><strong>1. Thou shalt have several other gods before me.</strong><br />
Have a lot on your plate. Say you’re working on a brief for washing up liquid, and another one for brown cheese (Norwegian, sweet, weird cheese), you may find yourself having an idea for the brown cheese, but it suits the washing up liquid campaign better. Or maybe both. Two clients with one stone.</p>
<p><strong>2. Thou shalt make unto thee a graven image.</strong><br />
Make things look nice! Looks matter.</p>
<p><strong>3. Thou shalt take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.</strong><br />
Misuse the brand name, rip it apart, don’t take it so seriously. Challenge the brand, think outside the brand bible, give a f***.</p>
<p><strong>4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.</strong><br />
You gotta take a break, man. Get a mocca-soy-decaf-latte, take 5, take a day or two. Go see some art, ride a horse, ride a camel, get plastered, meditate. Not necessarily in that order, but do it. Get some perspective.</p>
<p><strong>5. Honour thy father and thy mother.</strong><br />
If your mum don’t geddit, who will?</p>
<p><strong>6. Thou shalt not kill ideas.</strong><br />
Never, ever do this- in brainstorming sessions. If you do, it&#8217;s straight to the Purgatory. Say Gunnar in your team suggests green, dancing rabbits on Oxford Circus as a stunt for the new brown cheese, then it’s your responsibility to say &#8220;yeah, Gunnar! That is a excellent thought! Now, let&#8217;s explore that&#8230;&#8221;, at least during the brainstorming session. Later, you may call him a potato head.</p>
<p><strong>7. Thou shalt commit adultery.</strong><br />
Kill your darlings. File for divorce. If you’ve tried couple’s therapy for some time and you’re still not feeling the romance, then it’s best to go your separate ways. Bye, bye, baby.</p>
<p><strong>8. Thou shalt steal &#8211; a little.</strong><br />
Nick parts here and there, but don’t rip completetly off. Know where to draw the line. You can do better, bro. Get inspired, but remember to be an inspirator yourself too.</p>
<p><strong>9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.</strong><br />
Be true to the brand, don’t try to make it out to be something it aint. People see through that shit. I mean, oil spillage is oil spillage.</p>
<p><strong>10. Thou shalt covet thy neighbour&#8217;s house, thou shalt covet thy neighbour&#8217;s wife, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his ass and anything that is thy neighbour&#8217;s.</strong><br />
Well, I’m not sure about the part about his ass, but do appreciate all of the great things your colleague achieves. Try to help out whenever you can, and be generous with your ideas. Ideas are cheap. Be happy for other people when they succeed, that means you can too.</p>
<p><strong>Amen.</strong></p>

<p>I min kreative religion finnes det ti bud som jeg følger når jeg vil se lyset:</p>

<p><strong>2. Du skal misbruke Guds navn. </strong>Mist litt respekten for merkevaren; tør å utfordre, tulle, tenke usannsynlige løsninger. Gi litt F.</p>
<p><strong>3. Du skal holde hviledagen hellig.</strong><br />
Ta en times pause, eller en dags pause. Kom deg på kunstutstillinger, dra på ridetur, drikk deg kanakas, ta en break, mediter. Ting ser ofte annerledes ut dagen derpå.</p>
<p><strong>4. Du skal hedre din far og din mor.</strong><br />
De var nemlig ikke så dumme &#8211; mamma er midt i målgruppen for facebookbrukere. Og hvis ikke hun skjønner konseptet, skjønner ikke noen det.</p>
<p><strong>5. Du skal ikke slå ihjel idéer i idéfasen.</strong><br />
“NEI” er et bannlyst ord tidlig i prosessen og burde sende deg rett i skjærsilden. Hvis Gunnar i teamet synes grønne, dansende kaniner på Karl Johan er en ypperlig idé til lanseringen av den nye brunosten, så er det din oppgave å spinne videre på denne genistreken av en idé.</p>
<p><strong>6. Du skal bryte ekteskapet.</strong><br />
Noen ganger er skilsmisse eneste utvei. Kill your darlings. Dersom samlivsterapi ikke funker etter lang tids inverstering, kan det hende at du må ta skrittet og kassere en idé som sikkert er fenomenal, men ikke egner seg for akkurat denne kunden.</p>
<p><strong>7. Du skal stjele &#8211; litt.</strong><br />
Stjel i vei, se på andre suksessfulle kampanjer, men ikke rip fullstendig off. Bli inspirert, men vær også selv en inspirator.</p>
<p><strong>8. Du skal ikke tale usant om din neste.</strong><br />
Ikke lag et konsept bygget på løgn rundt merkevaren, men utnytt merkevarefordelene til sitt beste.</p>
<p><strong>9. Du skal begjære din nestes eiendom.</strong><br />
Bruk kollegene dine, vær raus med idéer, ikke knug dem til ditt bryst som en eiesyk galemann. Det at du ytret ordene til det som ble den bærende idéen, betyr ikke at de andre i rommet eier idéen mindre. Tenk at idéer er billige, de vokser på trær, og trærne tilhører alle. Vær ydmyk.</p>
<p><strong>10. Du skal begjære din nestes ektefelle, hans arbeidsfolk og andre som hører til hos din neste. </strong>Hjelp og bistå kollegene dine der du kan. Og vær glad på andres vegne når de lykkes. Hei på folk. Det at de lykkes, betyr at det er håp for oss alle.</p>
<p><strong>Amen.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Meet and get familiar with the MediaFronter’s one by one in this autumn’s Coffee Break series. Today we’re chatting to <a href="https://twitter.com/lisescheele">Lise Scheele</a>, who moved from Sarpsborg as soon as  she could after finishing high school. In <a href="http://www.bcu.ac.uk/">Birmingham</a> Lise catched a Foundation in Art and Design AND a Bachelor in Timed Based Media, before finishing a Master in Multimedia Design in <a href="http://www.monash.edu.au/study/coursefinder/course/3105/">Melbourne</a>. Obviously, she loves travelling, and has a big passion for interior design with the results of throwing herself into way too big renovating projects. <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/pub/lise-scheele/1/4b6/876">Lise</a> is Lead Designer on <a href="https://netcom.no/">NetCom</a>, a big and important client for MediaFront.</strong></p>

<p>My 2 year old daughter amazes me all the time, several times a day. And life itself. Otherwhise Im not often amazed, but some people at OFFF Barcelona made me go &#8220;WOW!, like <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKth8HV0j1I">Losiento</a> and <a href="http://www.memo.tv/category/work/">Memo Akten</a>. And there is things I wish was my idea, like <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5K3IRMFj1M">this one</a>.</p>
<h3>WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RESOURCE LIBRARY?</h3>
<p>Just Google it! I also read magazines, blogs and look at my Instagram feed.</p>
<h3>WHAT’S THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE THE DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY IS FACING RIGHT NOW, AND DO THIS LEAD YOU TO SOME PREDICTIONS?</h3>
<p>Too much pointless digital noise. Its all about quality not quantity. Discover actual face-to-face conversations and stop relying so much on the social media.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Its been a great two months to be a Mediafronter, working with the best clients there is!</strong></p>
<p>We have collected<strong> 1 Nominee &amp; 2 Honouree Nominee´s in The Webby Award´s,</strong> aswell as with two of our fantastic clients been acknowledged with <strong>2 “Design Excellance awards” from the Norewgian Design council.</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>To top it all off, we´ve got together with our clients <strong>6 nominations, 1 Gold in this years Gulltaggen</strong> awards. We also won <strong>Gold with our fantastic client STATOIL</strong>, in the Norwegian biggest Design competition <strong>VISUELT</strong>, and another Nomiation for another Statoil job in the same competition.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>What does all these awards mean if it &#8220;only&#8221; is getting awareness and building strong brands? We think that it is important to prove that all this work have to sell and work as somethings that start something important for our client. Something that makes a difference on the results. MediaFront/McCann/SDG was the most winning agency (by far) at the<strong> Retail Award in</strong> May. With <strong>4 gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze</strong><br />
Its a lot of fun getting recognition for our clients and the work we do for them. Brave &amp; innovative client strategies &amp; pioneering solutions that stand out in their categories is what we love working with.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Theres lots of talk out there these days about providing real value in customer experiences through App technologies &amp; Service design processes, but there´s relatively few real projects that illustrate the affect. So when we are awarded prizes for projects like the “RIMI Pluss” application, which has incorporated a complete process of strategy, planning, design, programming for all platforms and so on, we are proud and extremely happy.</p>
<p>This is truely what the design &amp; communication business is all about. Brave clients and teams of people that really believe in what they are doing, understanding that having ambitions is not just big words or dreams, that we can always push out in front. Its that something that contains something. That something is passion and guts.</p>

Official honoree to <a title="Rimi pluss" href="http://www.mediafront.no/portfolio-items/rimi-pluss/">Rimi Pluss</a> and honoree &amp; nomination to <a href="http://goodideas.statoil.com/deep-dive-en" target="_blank">Statoil &#8211; Deep Dive</a>.</p>

<p><strong>SENIOR INTERACTION DESIGNER</strong></p>
<p><strong>Job description:</strong><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong></strong>Our Senior Interaction Designers (SID) work with research, concept development, prototyping, information architecture, interaction design, user interface design and testing to create world-class digital services across multiple platforms.</p>
<p><strong> Core activities:<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong>Apply strategic thinking to design end-to-end customer experience solutions with a focus on user needs and business goals directly responsible for delivering all aspects of design, from defining customer needs to delivering concepts and prototypes to UI specifications for development.</p>
<p>Work directly with customers and users to design experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behaviour and verify design concepts.</p>
<p>Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs</p>
<p>Work closely with advisors to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modelling, interaction design, and usability testing</p>
<p>Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes, and design specifications.</p>
<p>Work closely with development teams to manage the design process, drive decisions, track design issues and ensure that design specifications are implemented.</p>
<p>Participate in and foster design thinking within MF</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience required:<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong> Minimum of 3 years experience with interactions design and / or information architecture projects</p>
<p>Experience of developing user experience concepts / principals based upon user insight &amp; clients business models.</p>
<p>Experience of service design methodologies &amp; tools, e.g. customer journey blueprints.</p>
<p>Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools,</p>
<p>Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc)</p>
<p>Experience as a client advisor &amp; leading UX design processes</p>
<p>Ability to intrepret client strategy into concrete needs requirements</p>
<p>Skilled practitioner in conducting &amp; analalysing user research / testing</p>
<p>Ability to drive projects independently as well as being a good team member.</p>
<p>Strategically &amp; conceptually strong, with an ability to see the whole picture in design projects.</p>

<p>Desirable though not mandatory to have visual design &amp; / or frontend code skills</p>
<p>Passion for design &amp; a wish to inspire &amp; learn from others around you</p>
