Netcom Youlekalender
Youlekalender (Christmas calendar) was a new service-idea for Netcom. The reason was the simple insight that people take pictures like never before, but a large proportion of these are stored on a hard drive somewhere, without being shown off to others. The service was a calendar-solution that allowed the public to fill dates with pictures and own words. When the respective days came, the message would be sent automatically from you to the recipients’ mobile phone.

Youlekalender was available on the web, tablets or smart phone. The calendars were free to make and send to the over 1.1 million in Norway NetCom subscriptions. Before sending, the calendar allowed the user to find out if the numbers they wanted to send to was NetCom subscribers. Otherwiser it would trigger a (good Christmas discounted) cost.
